About Our Home

The German Retirement Home is a retirement community that welcomes residents of all nationalities and backgrounds. Our name is part of our history. We were originally founded by the German Ladies Society of Seattle in 1925, but since 1937 we have been a non-profit corporation providing quality care to elder citizens of all nationalities. Like Seattle's Swedish Medical Center, we're a care facility with ethnic roots that serves the diverse population of Western Washington.

We have been in our current location since 1977.
